Wow! for $800 I'd rock the socks off that thing. I'd sell my GP and pocket the difference for that I think :)

My first ever car was a 1989 Chevrolet Celebrity with a 4 cylinder automatic... I abused the crap outta that thing and then sold it for more than i paid for it, it only had like 64000 miles on it and was a 1 owner car when i bought it, I sold it to a buddy of mine and he had it all the way up to this last year when he totaled it. (he bought it in 1998 from me) and it had over 200k on it

These types of ads always make me think of Retro. Probably able to get the whole thing for $600.

That's not been my experience. Guys figure they can $2000 selling parts, so they want $1800-$2000 for them. They don't take into consideration the whole problem will be gone and not having to run all the CL ads and dealing with CL losers.

Called all of these and left a voicemail for all of them hope they call me back

Hopefully the dude on the 6.2 will get back with you. You know its a rust bucket but it fits the bill for everything else doesn't it? You can alwasy sell the low mileage 6.2 for $500 or so. Never know, you might just like that mpg on the 6.2 and keep it that way for awhile. Although Diesel fuel is getting close to $4 a gallon here. Fuggin gas is even up to 3.45 at the cheap places around here and as high as $3.85 at some places. :flipthebird:

My 82 is the first longbed I've ever owned and I gotta say I love it, I can fit so much more stuff back there and still close the tailgate, lol

Yep, and not to mention a much smoother ride too. Much less bouncy and much better hitting bumps too IMO. I doubt I'd ever have a short bed. For an Xcab truck, I don't mind shortbeds, but standard cabs need to be long bed. And for all those they pay bigger money for less of a truck I only shake my head.

well damn the black and silver is already sold, and the white "1 ton" is NOT a 1 ton. He said it has 1 ton suspention but the axles are not the the Dana 60, then it also has a bad title. SOOOOOOOOO back at square one.

I did go look ast 1 that i have seen setting for the past few years. I thought it was a K30 DRW BUT it was only an 81-82 and the front differential had been changed and didnt even have the wheel adapters for it anymore. So that ones out too.

I also called about a 91 1 Ton 4X4 Wrecker taht I use to Drive. Its got a 454 tbi in it but there not ready to sell it till fall, there planning on using the wrecker body on a newer truck, and he will probably keep the 454 for a hotrod, Whcih would be fine with me as I dont care for 454's anyway.
