Get this, I just emailed a guy to see if he stll has it. He's about 20 minutes from me, but has a 4L80-E for $50. I asked if it had any breaks or cracks in the case. If not, I might try to squeeze $50 from somewhere and go get it. Thats a steal for that trans.

This doesn't appear to be to bad of a truck. Although it needs some rust repair. If it didn't need any rust repair, and I knew the axles had locker units, I'd say its worth pretty close to what he's asking. I'd hit him up for $3000. My concern is, he says the axles are locked? Does this mean it has locker units or is it Lincoln Locked? Meaning spider gears welded. If that's the case, then it has no biz driving on the street with those biggo tires. He'd be breaking some axles sooner or later. Then he mentions the truck has never seen dirt, s maybe its locker units. If I were him, I'd specify that though.

Heeeelllllllllllll NO !!! OEM 1/2 ton axles and the rear is a junky gov lock??? $7000??? I'd pay $3000 for the blue truck above before I paid $3000 for this one. Dude is smokin crack !!! And same bad crack at that. Maybe to much bleach in his crack.

now that I read it closer I think it might just be welded if he had aftermarket lockers you think he would tell you
