And its manual trans. Not a bad price for a 3/4 4x4. I have seen a couple cheaper and they even had a tailgate, but I think they needed some work and did not run well. Stuff like needs a carb. People don't realize, to say it needs a carb, can hide alot of problems, down to even burnt valves or blown head gaskets. And for real, if it need a carb or a kit, why not fix it and sell it for alot more. I am always Buyer beware when they say just needs a little tlc and/or a little carb work.

I got a non tilt Auto steering column for it with keys. MIght be sold though, I got it on CL for $50 and some guy is asking questions about it tonight and wants to see it.

That would fix it temporarily....But I've been looking at a way to 1. add a factory airbag for no real purpose except to say I did...and 2. seeing if i can add telescopic to one...

Ok, this guy replied to my email and said it is still availiable, and he wants to get a Honda Accord. How low should I go on an offer? Should I walk on the wild side and offer a grand? :005:

So you know he's desperate if he's down sizing for mpg. But, almost half price might be a little offensive. I usually save negotiations for when I am there in their face and looking at it picking it apart. I woudln't be afraid to offer $1400 though. K5's seem to go for higher money than 4x4 Burbs. I'd be a bit concerned what he means by tlc. That is always scary as I pointed out in my last post somwhere on here.

Go over there, look it over with a fine tooth comb, if it is what it seems flash the 1400 in his face and see what he says. Maybe even 1200 cuz you know he's going to talk back up a little after your initial offer...
