I'd get'em down to $600. Even though $800 is probably fair. Looks decent and its 3/4 ton. Actually looks better than mine even since mine needs paint. But mine is Silverado with power options, cruise and AC that I like. That one prolly just has OEM ac. It would sure make someone a good Cummins conversion project.

I never knew they made a van. I know a guy that has a restored station wagon.
They made a cab over truck configuration too, the tailgate lowered on the side of the bed.

Yeah, those Corvair enthusiets will pay big bucks. Many times though, the Dune Buggy guys will scoop up something like that for the stronger than VW rear transaxle and motor. Usually when you see those rear engine Dune Buggies, they are either VW or Corvair. Corvair is stronger.

And for the cost, you can buy one of those trucks. Spend $6K on a kit? I can buy a 65 in fair shape for less than $2k if I was pateint enough. A bud of mine just bought a 63 Stepside ready for paint for $1800 and it runs good. Its got a few wiring issues, but nothing it hard to figure out on those trucks. They are so basic.
