See, that's what I'm saying. The S-10s really do not get that much better mileage IMO for all the comfort you are giving up. The best I ever did in my 2000 Z71 5.3 Auto, I got 20.5mpg coming from Los Angeles to OKC on one tank of gas. Cruise was set to 68, the wind was behind me, and alot of that was down hill. I happen to have gotten 21 in my 2003 Avalanche 5.3 Auto 2wd @ 70mph in about the same area coming back from Laughlin, NV to OKC. Othersize 18.5-19 was common, and when you're getting 20-21 in an S-10, I just can't see giving up all the comfort for 1-2 mpg. Not to mention, alot less power, and not able to tow or carry near 1/2 what a full size will tow. JMO

My old '91 4.3 was capable of 28hwy in it's younger days.

I'd like to get this, but no need... or space.

A bit high too IMO. Its got some good things going for it, but still not worth $3300 with the paint in that conditions. I'd be thiking in the neighborhood $2000. $2200 tops and that's only cuz its big block and NP205. Small block and NP208, I'd say $1800 tops. Then again, I'm a cheap ass and I know whats available around here.

Yeah, true. That's prolly $1000 in the wheels, caps and lugs alone. And they are 8 lug.
