Same here. I need room. My bro had an S-10. Him and I were shoulder to shoulder in that thing in the front seats. I felt claustraphobic. And honestly, I don't think small trucks get all that wonderful of fuel mileage either. I can only guess its cuz they are low geared and not aerodynamic, but If I am gonig to have to drive something small to make up some gas mileage, it better into the 30's close to 40mpg. I was wishing VW TDI's didn't hold their value so well. You can get a 2000 or 2001 to get like 50mpg. Even the newer VW diesels don't do that well. VW has gone backwards on mpg. As much as I hate it, my Yota Rolla got 42 mpg hwy at best going slow, but got 38mpg quite often, and 30 city all the time. I prolly shoulda kept it. It was made in USA, but still a *** car, so I wore a paper bag over my head and dark tinted windows in shame. But I was doing what I had to do. My tint was illegal, but being a Process Server/PI I was able to get by with it. I guess its OK to break the law when you are working for the courts. :flipthebird:
I would actually like to do some kind of mod to my Burban front seat, like maybe an inch higher and an inch back would be perfect for me. I got to firgure a way out to do that. I think the flkoor brackets are kind of weird, I need to look at it.

I want buckets in my Burb too, and its bench seat in the front. Just that the interior is so damn flawless. I also prefer gray. Not sure if I'll convert mine to buckets or not. Who knows as bad I want a 4x4, I might end up selling my Burb and just look for a 4x4 with buckets. Decisions Decisions !!! Even the door panels are flawless. Never know, I could take the red interior out of the Burb and use it in a pick up too. Not a fan of Red interior, but this is so flawless it looks good.

Yeah, 305 was standard in SWBs 1981-86, I don't even think a 350 was optional.

Actually, was the 250 I6 Standard, then eventually the 4.3 v6, and the 305 was the only V8 option?

You're right. That's what I meant...I am tired.

1987 was the year you could finally get a 350 in a 2wd SWB since 1980.
