Using your Makita drill to spin the tach doesn't count.

:laughing1:

I have a feeling it can be done too. Just so long as the dizzy has an elctronic lead off it, even if it might require retrofitting a differant dizzy, I say it can be done. Really, I'd have to wonder what the VSS has to do with it though. Vehicle speed has nothing at all do with engine rpm. I just say it wouldn't be able to be done thru the ECM or the crankshaft sensor, but it will have to be done at the dizzy.

hmmm, Curious why you'd wait??? Great for kids to grow up with a family pet. Labs are great family dogs too. One of the best breeds for a family pet IMO. Uusually have a mellow temperment, but will come to life bigtime when it comes to being protective over their household and family members of that household.

Only because of the work it takes to take care of a baby and a puppy. We are looking to have another kid sometime in the next or so but our yongest right now is only 18 months old. Right now, don't have enough time basically.

TBI trucks don't have a crankshaft sensor? Unless Skysurfer has a later model engine in his truck...Even then, there's ways around it. :)

I started the Retro SB savings fun, its a plastic bag I am filling with aluminum cans I usually give to homeless people that dive my dumpster.

All dogs are cool, I even like my 2 Chihuahuas. The best breed in my opinion is Pitbull Terrier, I had 3 monstrous pure breeds at one time. During a breakup I stashed them at my parents house and after a month they would not give them back. They are the sweetest dogs, very entertaining and best of all the best protection anyone could ask for.

I despised anklebiters when we first got them. But when I was deathly ill for a few months in early 2010, the little boy was by my side the entire time. He would follow me to the kitchen and garage and back to make sure I was okay, he was there every night in my bed sleeping right beside me. I wouldn't give him up for anything. Even though he has some major anxiety issues......

I guess not, that didn't start unitl OBD 2 and distributorless ignitions huh? I just think as long as it has a dizzy, it can be done.
