Have anyone had trouble or issues using the Raybestos brakes from Rock Auto? It would be brakes shoes and other brake parts for the front wheels on a 67 F100. The raybesto brake shoes are the pro series.

I was gonna get them from Napa but the raybesto stuff is cheaper throught Rockauto.

Is there any brands of brakes or brake parts to stay away from when ordering at Rockauto.com?

fisher auto parts had raybestos, they just switched the whole network over to wagner brakes, of course it will take a little while for all the raybestos to get sold, never bought anything from rock auto

I doubt they had anything in stock for the 67 F100 so I went ahead ordered everything in raybesto professional from rockauto. I'll probably order the king bolt set in raybesto from rockauto here later on also.

I buy from Advance, I get the Wagner ThermoQuiet pads. I was never a fan of the NAPA pads, not always the longest life and they usually produced a lot of brake dust.

I'm also a fan of the Wagner Thermoquiets. They worked very well for me, and like the name says, not a single squeal out of a 28 year old lifted truck. Not too bad, in my book.

Have anybody actually read the fine on the warranty for the duralast brakes at autozone. It says Limited lifetime warranty meaning there only cover for life by defect not normal wear. So if you to buy a new set of brakes if they have normal wear on them.
