I hate to derail anyone's plans or what ever but if it's not going to get a lot of use have you considered a cargo trailer.I thought that was stupid too. The first time the idea was presented, but my cousin grabbed a 16 ft cargo trailer through a hide a bed somevtables chairs etc in it we camped 3 days and took it back. I liked it so much I bought 1 now I can camp on it or haul 4 wheelers etc. or use it for storage.

I have use of a 14ft enclosed trailer and had that thought too, but the doors only latch from the outside.

Take the doors or door off make a temporary filler panel out of OSB and put a cheap door in the OSB filler panel. I can get more use out of a cargo trailer year round than a camping trailer and they are usually better made.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the sister in law being around at all. But it's already hectic in our house with 9 kids and 2 dogs. And it's an excuse to buy a camper, lol.

There are three within an 1/8th of a mile from my house. Not for sale, although I haven't asked, and they're too far away for you.

Seeing that slide in camper reminds me of a story one of my old Cali buddies told me. Of course it's not going to be as good reading it in text as it was him telling it to us, but I'm pretty sure I laughed so damn hard I pissed a little. I'm just about 99% certain I pissed a little.

So he and his wife was out on a 4 day holiday camping trip. Parked in a camp ground spot truck nosed out facing the street. They went for a walk and a swim at the lake. Stopped by the public bathroom/Shower and and did a quick wash down and back to the camper. When they got back in the camper, She drops her wet 2 pc on the vinyl floor jumps up in the overhead sleeper to get up in the cubby for her clean dry clothes. He drops his laundry, he's sitting there looking at her with her legs hanging off the overhead about to come on down but still nekkid. He said he realized his old pecker got to growing and her cooter was staring at him at almost face level. So he pushed her back up a bit on the overhead mattress and started chowing down on her clam. Mind you, this is like late afternoon, early evening still plenty of daylight. As moaning and carrying on, he starts to hear people talking, then people are getting louder and louder and some laughing and some yelling, you go boy and all this ****. He said he was curious as to what was going on but he was tied up in the moment and just keep on going to town. Finally, curiousity gets the best of him, and he tells the wife, Babe, peak out that front curtain and see what's going on out there. She's says, OH MY GOD all these people are standing in front of our truck, about the that time here comes all the clapping when they seen the overhead curtain move. So here's what's up. He didn't realize his **** his hard as rock sticking through the rear cab curtain window and of course he's dancing around while going to town opening the curtain wider and wider and her feet can be seen dangling off the overhead bed too. Yep, he and is wife giving a live porn show at the damn campground on a busy 4 day weekend. I asked if he left after that. He said no but we waited til dark before we came out of the camper again. He said they had all the beer they could drink. I guess people were stopping by patting him on the back and giving him a beer and even women too. All I can say, is the parents must have ran the kids off or it could have been very verey bad. That was back in the 80's. I'd imagine if that were today, they'd be locked up in jail.

You cna replace with door latches that work form both sides as well. Spent a fair number of nights in my snomachine trailer/makeshift camper.

Do you not see the advantage of the latch on the outside??? I'd roll with it. Sis N Law starts getting lippy, just latch that thing up. Just make sure she goes inside first.

Yes, that is correct.

Sometimes it's hard to keep that neck red when you can get all four seasons in one day.:33:

Naw, ain't got nuttin to do with the color of one's neck, nor the weather, or geography. It's attitude!

Something like this is along the lines of what I'm looking for. My recent CL searches have not turned that one up. Earlier today, my wife actually found the 27ft twin to that one. It's even cheaper, but has water damage in the roof.
Look around PA?
