Is the proportioning valve/brake saver working correctly? We replaced mine this summer. The brakes worked, but the rears didn't work well. We bled them with a vacuum system and someone pumping the pedal, but they still didn't work right. Then we changed the master cylinder, as it didn't look great (old fluid) and was quicker and easier to swap than rebuild. I was still having issues - the proportional valve (brass-looking unit mounted under the rad and super easy to get at ;) ) was almost stuck, but not completely. Changed it and had the brakes properly bled in 30 minutes.

Nvm. Old master = good. I haven't even bled the lines but I needed to get the tuck in the garage (it's freezing) and it stops better than woth the other matser
However my truck REALLY does not like the cold

Yall know how to get the master to stop making the goose sound at the end of the stroke. The other one did it too.

I believe the sound you are talking about is coming out of the booster. Is it a continuous sound or only when the pedal is in motion?

Just kinda at the end of the stroke. It kina weezes or makes a goose sound.
I can't hear it when the truck is on but I'm shure it's there. Both masters did it.

If it did it with both masters then it's not likely to be the master. Since I can't hear it, I can only say that some noise from the booster is normal, and all you have is the linkage and pivot for the pedal, generally if those get noisy they squeak. So that leaves the booster. I really don't think that is a concern for the brakes especially if you cannot hear it with the truck running. If you want to take this a little further you could take a video with good audio of the noise, up load it to youtube and then link it in your thread here. If you tag me I will listen it and tell you if I think it's normal or what it might be from.

If you’re able to fully depress the brakes that many times with the engine off, the master cyl is still going to the floor.
Noise is the booster I think.

Not sure yet.
Did you replace the booster?

If so, did you adjust the set screw on the booster shaft? if it's not set correctly it won't engage the MC at the right time. I've made this mistake a few times.
