I've recently been drooling more over blazers than my c10. I love the truck, but seeing as its a daily and I have more people in it than big hauls in the bed, I'd like to get a blazer as my next car. But as I started to think about what to look for I figured I basically want all my drive train and suspension but with a Blazer tub.
So here's my question, could I get a decent blazer tub and bolt it to my current c10 frame? Its a 78, and I'd like to have a solid roof over the cab, I'm not sure what years came with that.
Idealy, I would be using the same harness, column, dash gauges etc, and maybe even doors. I have dual sattle tanks right now but im assuming those would have to go and id have to get a single tank under the tub. If I rerouted the fillers could I still fit them under the tub?
The only other problem I can think of woukd be body mounts, although if I could steal some from a yard and bolt them to the frame I'd be comfortable with that.
This would happen way in the future but its always interesting seeing what other people know about these cool squares, I figure at the least it'll be fun to think about. Thanks!
