A year and a half ago after scouting a new field for goose hunting, I found this sticking out the side wall of my rear driver's side tire (BFG). It was really jammed in there, and survived the 50+ mile drive home after scouting. I wish I'd have taken a picture of it still in the tire, but I was concerned when I noticed it. I couldn't pull it out by hand, and had to use vice grips.
The tire never leaked or required any attention. After that experience, I'm a believer in the KO2s!
Good luck to the OP with the Cooper Discoverers! I had Coopers on my first square, but that truck went up in smoke before the tires wore out. Never had any complaints with them though.
