We LOVE the second row buckets in ours cuz the older boys just walk back to the back row and buckle up. No climbing over seats and all that crap
We would too but the kids who will be back there are 4 and 1.5, so in about 1 year we won't be able to get to the back because the twins will be moving to rear facing seats. 5 years from now when they can buckle themselves in is a different story

That makes sense. Our four are all about 2-2 1/2 years between each one so it just worked out for us that way. It's funny cuz it seems there's a big dividing line of people who don't like buckets and want the bench and those that don't like the bench and like the captains. Lol

I like the looks of the buckets but the utility or the bench :) in the future I can see buckets.

Undecided what I will do. I can either keep paying my car off for the next year, at which case it doesn't actually save me any money, a little gas over the burb. At least we have 1 vehicle that can haul the family for now so I am not rushed into anything.

What kind of real world fuel economy do they get on the interstate?

Yeah that's probably what I avg on a trip of mostly hwy and that's loaded down with kids and their paraphernalia needed when going out of town.

well my normal daily commute(1 way) breaks down to:
1 mile in town with 3 stop signs
37 miles of interstate at 75mph posted limit
1 mile of 40mph
3 miles of 55mph.

so for the most part, interstate at 75mph, :angels2:

so a burb with only me in it most of the time is a lot of vehicle. probably too much for the time being.

To answer your question thoroughly, the 2 battery trays are for the PPV tahoe and suburban models that the government uses. Helps run the lights and stuff. You'll know if you found a PPV if it has a 140mph speedo. I have a 2007 LTZ suburban and I can assure you this: stay away from auto ride! If you are going to tow anything at all have the transmission flushed. It's got 162,*** miles on it and we've already replaced the oil pump and both air shocks in the rear are blown. It's nice for hauling the kids around and did one hell of a job towing my newly acquired 77 K10 home on a car carrier from uhaul. It also has stabilitrak, which likes to go off at odd times, sometimes when you're sitting at a red light. Lots of electrical gremlins. If you think for any reason you might tow something heavy go with a 2500 LT model.

You didn't misread it, I didn't clarify. My apologies. It actually confused me until I started looking at the auctions for a retired NC state patrol Tahoe PPV.

Anyone know for sure if seat heaters were not installed, that the kit GM sells is plug and play?

That maroon 11 is still for sale....
