I think the denali's were AWD, including pickups, regular suburbans and trucks were 4x4.

The 2007 and 2008 pickups with the 5.3L had major oil burning issues. The ones the knock down to 4cyl. Not sure if burbs had the feature or not.

i could maybe go to 10.5 for it, but no higher. the pictures are way nicer than it was in person. also could use a windshield as there are 3 hugh chips that are not fixable and it is only a matter of time before they spread (especially since they aren't really interested in selling). per NADA definitions it is somewhere between Average and Clean.

unsure if the air suspension worked either, felt kinda "wallowy" while driving.

dont get me wrong, I would drive it and buy it, it just isnt worth 13,7. there were 2 sold at dealerships this past week I missed, both listed for under 10,9 in similar condition from what i could see in the pics and 115k miles so realy comprable

maybe elsewhere they go for that much, but not here. even in Dallas and Phoenix they aren't going for that much. i could catch an allegiant flight direct to phoenix to pick one up, it is tempting.

we looked at an 07 Denali, that wasn't too bad, but price too much for our budget.

i drove an 2004 burban that was AWD. i didn't know it was even an option until i researched after i drove it.

They countered with 12,6 and quoted truecar as their pricing source.

Anyone know how to test the air suspension?

You should hear the compressor kick on when you start it up and then put a load in the back as it works to keep the vehicle level.

I'd wan't to get rid of the rear air assist anyway. I'd want to add an extra leaf or add in some air bags with regular shocks, or something similar. But I'm usually more of a 3/4 ton type guy, so my opinions may be a little biased.

They don't have leaf springs. They are coil springs and shocks but there are kits you can buy to delete the air suspension.

right, still needs something. i didn't hear it run at all, but i didn't crawl underneath it when it was running either.

does it have air shocks on the front too?

i countered with 10k, i won't go above that for this one. between the suspension, windshield, and shaking steering wheel/entire truck above 70mph, it needs more work than they seem to think it does.

Oh hell, I had another brain fart. 3/4 tons (Burbs of course) had leaf springs though, and that's where my mind always goes :)

I've actually removed the rear air ride on a few of these before, but I don't remember exactly what was involved.

:) yeah it's definitely doable and not a bad idea. The trick is making it so that the computer doesn't look for it anymore. I could probably find out pretty easily what the steps are to removing it. If the deal happens I'll find out and post it up.

The front still has some sort of adjustable damper though, the replacements arnott sells have a spoof or something. I need much more research.

Anyone know if the 40 part of the 2nd row slides, or just folds?

I can't buy a DD vehicle off an individual. I don't even try anymore. They always seem to want way more than it's worth or you end up taking a dry screwing. I have always stuck with dealerships. You can get reamed there too, but generally if they get trade ins that are crap they sell them to a wholesaler instead of selling them back to the public.
