Thanks, this is actually a picture of the inside of a '85 C10, my '84 looks much different. However, these same colors do appear on '84 trucks. Here's the outside of the truck and the paint codes for it:

Thank you very much.

I’d be really skeptical of dying an expensive new dash unless it was literally a garage queen and saw very little UV.

It's been seven years, and lots of sunlight exposure. The dash still has not hardened or cracked. Colorbond supposedly contains UV protectant. In my case, it works.

If you can find a dash in a color you like, get that one. In my case, I wanted a color that didn't exist on a dashpad, so I just dyed a black one.

@Grit dog , well, as you said truck shop has been a goat rope since we order the dash. It came, looked great. One warm day went to install and dash bezel trim did not fit. Like dash was formed incorrectly. Called and worked with Gil. Sent pictures after he suggest I “cut the holes to fit” told him it had nothing to do with trim as the insert just did not fit into the holes. They pulled another dash and bezel at the shop and he said it dropped right in. They made me send additional pictures of the shipping box, said damaged in shipping and UPS would have to eat it. Meantime WE had to wait for the process. I said, not damaged, holes do not line up for trim, sounds like defective from dash direct. Anyway took an extra 10 days back and forth and finally they are shipping new dash pad out today!

So, lesson learned. Done with them. However did have some other returns there and got quick refund. I just guess LMC has market cornered on most things and at least when things are their fault they respond and take care of you…

Well that’s a bummer. Did they take back the bad dash and refund?

Hey guys, are there defroster vent covers for the 73-80 dash pads? LMC and Truck shop do not show inserts….

Well two dash pads later and a month lost with arguing with Truck shop over the dash bezel insert that does not go into pre formed holes. They wanted me to “drill it out” and when I asked if I break the $90 dash bezel will they replace it, “let me ask my manager” no we won’t!
Put everything on the porch and told them to come get it. Done with truck shop. What a wasted month… I guess back to LMC

Have call in to USA1 interiors to see if they have any in stock yet after our fiasco with truck shop. If not I guess it’s LMC….

The truck shop dash situation was a fiasco to say the least. Sent it all back (shipping on them) got LMC vinyl dash in today. It’s a dashes direct and it went right in. Had to do some foam removal from around the vents to get them in and the speed nuts to hold the vents in but not terrible. Rest of the insulation was easy peasy.

That’s what we get for trying to say a few buck…

LMC vinyl from Dashes direct. Went right in. Easton loves it. A little trimming around the vents to get bezel to accept AC vents and speed nuts but no biggie at all.

Randy the LMC dash looks pretty close to the dash I just got from Classic Industries. The CI dash isn't quite show quality but went in just fine as far as I can tell. Kind of a weird depression on the top of the drivers side.
