A while back someone noticed a set of 3/4 axles for sale in the Dallas,Texas area for $2000 and it seemed like quite a few people got in a uproar over the high priced axles and started saying how those axles were only worth a couple hundred bucks.

well now that I have blown my axles im all about finding a front and rear 3/4 axles set for 200 bucks. Hell Ill buy a pallet of them for that price.

Looking for a front and rear axles for the burb.

Thanks

That $200 price must be regional because I’ve been keeping a lookout for a 14b ff for several years. Pretty much everything I see is too new (I don’t want to mess with moving perches) or the guy wants $800-1000 for just a rear axle.

The guy that services my transmissions has one that’s bolt-in ready, same year and has the right gears, but it’s half of a set he’s saving for a build that somehow hasn’t gotten started in the last five years. I’ve offered him $400 for it but he won’t budge. Maybe I’m out of touch with the value of these, but I thought I made a fair offer. I might kick it up to $500 just to test his resolve.

OP must be in Washington. I had a set a couple months back that sat for sale for so long I ended up giving them away. Had them listed for $150 and not even an offer came in. Had brand new brakes, bearings and was a 4.10 matched set.

Thank you for the leads.
The ff in the poconos with 3,73s is a deal.

Here is a 4,10 ff I was able to pick up last Sunday 11-8-2020 for 200.

The seller also sold me a good working sm465 connected to a np208 with a straight driveshaft for another 200.
