looks great, same process I used except I had more steps and all by hand.

I went with TW rubbing compound, wiped it clean after,
TW polishing compound, clean after,
nevrdull, wiped clean,
then mother's mag and alum. polish.

I always did it by hand. That sucks. My last experience was a set of polished 17 inch Boyds that I got used. They had been neglected and looked silver, and I spent several hours trying to polish them by hand (Mothers and some other expensive stuff that I don't remember the name). They looked MUCH better, but still didn't look new... I bolted them on the car anyway. Then last summer I bought one of those Mini Powerballs and gave them another shot with the Mothers polish. Good lord that was SO much easier, and the wheels now look almost new. I only had to spend a total of about one hour on all four wheels.

Forget everything I previously posted, I figured it out. Wheels are done, tomarrow after work I will be getting the tires installed on these wheels.

First step: Steel wool the living **** out of the entire wheel. Squeeze some dish washing detergent into your wool pad and let a water hose constantly spray water on the wheel while you work on it.

Before and after. Purely steel wool, no polish.

The steel wool is very abrasive, it will strip everything down to the bare aluminum with some elbow grease.

Once its clean use a new bonnet on the orbital polisher for AWESOME results.

This whole time I was trying to do the heavy cleaning with the rubbing compound on my orbital polisher, that was the main problem.

the cloth bonnets on the orbital sander get clogged up with dirt and other **** and eventually stop working, they become smooth.

if the wheel is clean to begin with and you start polishing its alot better, the pad immediately turns black but thats normal. After you polish on the wheel there is a black film left over, rub it off with a rag or do what i did and use a sponge and dish washing soap. Finished product is a very clean shiny wheel.

I can hardley wait to see them on the truck. Its gonna make a hella difference. I like those wheels too, and being they are genuine Centerlines, I like'em even better.

74 bucks mounted and balanced, even came with 4 more lug nuts. Its painfull to see other people working on my truck, I was glued to the window the entire time my pickup was on the rack. Funniest part was the kid backing my truck out and explaining my truck was terrifying and he's never had to drive a standard truck.... WTF?!?! It was insulting because I applied there recently and they never gace me a call, but they hire a young guy who is afraid of a standard transmission...... :shitsweak:

I was straight up and said, your not going to find bad parts in your inspection and your not selling me anything. Just put the god damn wheels on, I would do it myself but I don't have compressed air.

Here it is.....
