1.5 (Presumably stock? or common , an overall OK number?) degrees plus or minus .75 degrees. shouldnt become that much off that spec.
As I said to him, if this is actually true and all that, that he had almost zero, I wouldnt be worried.
but being the guy who did the alignment has a lot of suspicious stuff, such as the SPECS FOR CAMBER saying they should be 1 to 2 degrees. then I
do not trust it
But Im not him. If he doesnt notice anything visually, with any checking, tire related, or handling, then hes
probably fine.
I’m sorry you are taking this personally. Not meant to be.
No, it doesn’t sound plausible
Thats why. I wouldnt doctor up a chart to misdirect someone and I provided GMs spec listing to clear up any wondering, and I also noted that its not necessarily "the" spec because they could have always changed it whenever they wanted and that TSB would be old enough to not be readily found and a lot of machines/databases may still use the one pictured while there could exist a "new" one
The nominal part makes me think its been misinterpreted as being strict 1.5 +/- .75 when I Read it as a value one may reasonably get on a good truck(no issues) and the +/- gives it possibly an acceptable contact patch while wheels turned agressively out, and because its for v30 as well as v10, maybe its to accomdoate kingpins which to my understanding will have different camber when turned all the way (which is also a shorter radius)
Are oneo the ball joints more prone to wear generally? if so that could be to accomodate that
I just did a deeper search to find any TSBs or official data, I did not find anymore. oh well
