Hey all,

The rear cab of my truck has no molding that wraps around the rear of the cab. I very much like the look of this however the P/O must have patched the holes because right now it is clean looking. Do they make a rear cab molding that is a "stick on" model so I do not have to drill holes in my cab again?

Thank you,

Not that I'm aware of. I've seen some people online say they just used thick 3M adhesive but don't have any direct experience. I've thought about doing it to my truck cuz it never had the trim

I’m planning to drill the holes for the side molding and then use the 3m thick two way adhesive for the long trim piece for cab rear.

You might be able to stick the plastic cab trim clips on with thin 3m double sided tape, but I agree, I don’t see the corner pieces holding well if at all without bolting them up like OE.

How do those little pins even mount? Is it like a rivet? Haven't looked close at the only truck I've had, that's had the trim.

I'd drill a hole and attach the clip with a screw. I've been here before & now when those brads either fall or rust out & then need replacing. I've had to improvise several for the vinyl roof on my '74 Z28 that I've been working on the last few years.

The factory ones are welded into the cab, kinda like a spot weld or a stud welder

So these aftermarket kits are double sided tape on the back and mounting clips on the corners is that correct?

Nope, they're just like original. So you either have to already have the studs on the truck or be willing to add the studs and drill holes on the sides for the corner pieces.
