Maybe my “pick up coil” is bad. I just tried to put back in the old duralast ignition module but I cannot get the engine to start with that either.

Should I try trouble shooting the spark plugs with new ones first since it’s probably easiest ?

Check for spark, also Have someone crank it and watch for injector pulse. If there is no pulse it's probably the pickup coil.

So i would look for spark now. Take note of spark color if there is a spark.

Whereabouts do I look for spark?

For clarity this is the number one spark plug correct? It goes to the first place on right on the engine closet to the fan on second pic

Super weak. Should be blue. I think its a bad coil.

Is there any other tests?

Will I be able to service a bad pickup coil and not have to remove the distributor?

Or do I need to remove the distributor?

Please Excuse me. I meant ignition coil because of the weak spark. It's mounted on intake manifold and center plug wire goes to distributor.

Why do you assume the issue is with the distributor? TBI can have it's share of issues elsewhere as can a failing fuel pump. Both of those can cause the same symptoms you're describing. Outside of loose connections, an electronic component either works all the time or fails completely.
