Tried to add more heat deterrent for the spark plugs and the air intake. Air filter intake is just put together from scrap pieces of thin aluminium sheets.

Went for getting tuning sorted. But found transmission range switch not wired to ecu at all. Added wires and spliced it in. Now ecu should be selecting tables better for in gear vs park.

Dislike dragging doors. Had a moment to install new hinge pins. Door lines up and closes nicely now. Need to replace that broken door handle now.

Dang, those are some fancy pins! I've replaced oodles of those pins and bushings over the years, but just installed the stock type. Really though, they hold up pretty well if they get lubed every month or so.

Where does someone purchase those greasable pin kits?

They are not cheap. GM 19332887
Summit has the best price if grabbing few other things. I went through two plain sets already on my burban. Switching to these ones for gmt400. Have same greaseable style on my Trans Am as well. I think bushings on these ones are a bit better made.

Huh. GM parts even. Nice! Do you by chance know of an upgraded replacement for the tension roller pin? I have to replace them on my '90 and the Dorman replacements seem to be questionable in the quality department.

I believe it is too short, but I have not measured or even compared the hinges. I think the reason that the truck style pins are the full length type is because they need the double shear strength since the roller is mounted further away from the hinge.

Mine are broken where they enter the lower part of the hinge. They are still there and functional, but they cause a very annoying 'pop' when the door is pulled closed due to being broken and at an angle.

On passenger side mine is broken as well. F body uses a two piece where the stop pin then has the roller attached to it with a press pin. Might be similar workable set up with gmt400. I had dorman pieces to be installed, but might look in to making an actual gm roller from different application fit

There's a couple angles that make them look less than stellar, but many angles where they look great. Personally, I'd leave them be, without a second thought.
