I believe it is too short, but I have not measured or even compared the hinges. I think the reason that the truck style pins are the full length type is because they need the double shear strength since the roller is mounted further away from the hinge.

Mine are broken where they enter the lower part of the hinge. They are still there and functional, but they cause a very annoying 'pop' when the door is pulled closed due to being broken and at an angle.

Well dang! I wonder how long those have been available? I've had to replace entire hinge assemblies because the dealer told me back then that they weren't available separately. You ever replace the hinge assemblies on the full size trucks or S10's? It sucks! Lol.

They are not friendly to replace for sure. I do like the gmt800 hinge design better

Replaced outer door handle. Bolts were loose, which probably was the reason it broke. Added sound deadening inside the door and foam on the door panel.

As I found out, at full lock it hits the frame. Happened to be at full lock, drop wheel down the compressed back snapped it out.

Going to look for a bigger size adapter fitting. Thinking of a way to deal with it without separating the caliper(to keep shaving from getting inside).

Passenger side pins and a detent roller are installed.

This is taking a while. Unfortunately there is no access to the inside of the outer skin in the back.

Mostly finished. Some trim to go up in the back and one seat is out still. Sounds better inside.

Put together the slide out box years ago when we were traveling with 91 V2500 burb. But came useful with a 2dr to expand space capacity some.
