I didn't pull the pin... I cut the wire and it would only connect when the wire comming form the Aldo port was grounded.
Thats wierd. It should still collect Data.
Lets check something here, since your IAC valve is open like 2 barn doors.
Warm her up to op temp, and shut her down.
Ground a and b with a paper clip or jumper wire. Turn the key on, and count 30 seconds. Then unplug the IAC valve, take the jumper out of a and b, and start it and see how it idles. dont hook up the computer to it, the ecm tries to command 1000rpm idle. it should idle pretty low with the iac closed....if it closes at all.
Timing is effected by everything on that engine, and seeing the IAC counts at over 100 is alarming...should be between 20 and 40 at warm idle.
