Have an engine from a ‘73 Monte Carlo in my 84 c10. The 73 had a 2 line pump on it. The 84 truck has 3 lines from the tank. 2 at the pump and 1 that goes over to the evap canister that has been removed.

My question is should I put a 3 line fuel pump in to attach the 2 lines near the pump? Or can I use the earlier style pump?

Pictures for reference. Going to putting all new rubber lines in.

Use the three line pump, having a return system is better than a deadheaded system.
