Lol I know many people don't like second gens but I love them

Nah 355 be staying the the K5
Will build a Pontiac engine for the bird

Also, I'd love a set of the wheels that bird had in that video. 18x12s except they cost about a grand each. $1200 each for 20x12s

Its RWD with IRS

Keep in mind, I still have 2 Pancho 400's. Never been cracked open. Still got the heads, intakes and exhaust manifolds. One is a 74 the other is a 67 which I'll likely keep for a SB truck motor along with my 68 Olds 455. But they are seized and need my Electolysis project done to the them in hopes to unsieze them.

I always have wild ideas when it comes to engines builds

I still want to convert the 355 in the K5 to coil per cylinder and run it off a LS1 computer

Doing the same with a Pontiac engine would be beyond interesting. I would have to design my own reluctor set for it though
That would be awesome, I won't dare call it COP (Coil over Plug) since I do beleive F O R D coined that phrase, and actually their coils are over the plug, actoualy ON the plug. Which I'll admit, it is a great idea and eliminates the need for plug wires, but it sure has its drawbacks too when it comes to working on the car and the fuel rail gets in the way of taking the coil off to change a spark plug. Now its getting ridiculous. I think I like GM idea better and for ease of changing plugs. I'd love to put a 5.3, 6.0 or 6.2 in my SB 4x4. I have heard though that yes you do get more power out of the 6.0, but it really not worth the loss in mpg that the 6.0 is horrible on mpg and the 5.3 has plenty of power with fair mpg. Anyone know, is the new 6.2 a cast iron headed motor or aluminum???
On another note, I'd even be tickled to have a Vortec 350 in my SB 4x4 although there is not alot of power adders for those since they were kinda maxed out already. I am shocked noone in the aftermarket world like Eddybrock has come up with oversize spider injector set up, or a spider with removable changeable injectors. Only Option at this time is to go with a marine system. Or, could always go with a Vortec Fo Fitty Fo and use, dare I say, F O R D injectors and get more hp/torque. More options in the Vortec 454 than the Vortec 350. Strange ehhh???

Hmmm, why was I thinking the 6.0 that came out in the SS trucks was a cast iron head motor??? Maybe its not a LS motor?? Of course I am reffering to older, like 2002 and 2003 era.

The LQ4/LQ9 6.0 engines that were in HD's and SS's had cast iron blocks but aluminum heads

Same with the 4.8/5.3.
Except the L33 high output 5.3 which has an aluminum block

Yeah and the L33 is what is in the Impalla SS and Pontiac GP GXP. OK, not sure why I was thinking the 6.0 had iron heads.

Are you doing like a resto job on it or what? I vote for a set of weld racing wheels with the oversize studs instead of those hideous stock wheels. I am sorry, I cant read anywhere where you asked my opinion.

I had one of those cars in really nice shape a while back that my cousin gave me, I gave it to my brother and he sold it after my dad pulled the motor. Personal opinion here but... I fell like they are to be hacked up. I think thats why so many end up on dirt track ovals.

Tub that bitch and make one hell of a project car instead of restoring it to its original ugly ass glory, do it some justice and make it a drag car or something. Sorry again, just an opinion.

Lots of torque but a smog motor.

For $650 it should include the entire car.
