Hey yall new guy here from Wake Co. NC!! While I am new to this forum I certainly am not new to the 70s world of Chevy trucks!!. Anyway I'll start my intro/build thread soon full of juicy (possibly unnecessary) details gearheads love to hear but for now I'll start with this. Purchased a 77 k10 today and I need to replace the 700r4 transmission (with a th350), the front axle, and I want to get rid of the all time 4x4 NP203 and replace it with the NP205.
SO... what do yall think is it worth it going through the trouble with all the shifter adapting, driveshaft shortening, hub installing fun??? oh and the engine runs like a seasoned stallion (Amazing but needing the proper motivation)
