I know this is worthless without pics but, I ordered a Pro-comp 4" lift, Mickey Thompson Classic III's in 15x10, and 35x12.50 BFG Mud Terrain KM2's from Summit. Parts got here yesterday and I would be doing the install as we speak but the wife went into labor and we are now the proud parents of a new baby girl. I am getting very anxious.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks I might need to do this install smoothly? I have been out of the country for a long time and its been a bit since I have done any suspension work.

P.S. Any tips on going crazy from not being able to put on my goodies????????

Break out the pb blaster, impact gun, some wrenches (my header on passenger side kinds blocks easy access to rear passenger side shackle) jack stands, engine hoist or jacks.

Congrats on the new baby.

spray your bolts with pb blaster or similar stuff asap let it soak

do 1 side at a time that way the other side helps keep the axles located

if you are swapping your steering arm loosen the nut and soak the studs and cone things with pb blaster or similar stuff

Now's the best time to replace all the damn, bushings up front. and Brace the steering gear box, either weld or bolt in the brace.

Don't do the work in a garage without checking the height of the door.

I had to let the air out of the tires to get out.

a good straight, level floor will be your best friend. also a good beer fridge, since you have a newborn, and even worse, a new mom. good luck bro, and try and drag this one out. cause after your done your lift, you,ll prolly be stuck in the house for a bit. congrats on being a new dad!

Ok I have a confession... I caved in! A buddy of mine offered to do my lift for me if I would give him my old wheels and tires on trade. With my time constraints and lack of a garage I said yes. I am really glad I did now! It turned out just like I wanted it to! So here is the pic as promised.
