The original size was 205/70/14, when I bought the car they put 235/60/14 on it which is what I bought when I got the Cooper Cobras. It now has hankook ventus v2 concept 245/50/16 all the way around.

It has been 39 years since the Indy has been on a racetrack the last time was 1981 when it did parade laps at Indy. I had just fixed the power steering before this event so was relearning the car the whole time.

It was paced not supposed to get above 70 but the pace car got above that so we did as well unfortunately I don’t have any pictures of it going around the track. Going to look into getting a go pro

Splurge and get the Hero8 Black. I love mine.

I like that car. Looks like a great patina project too. I don't think I'd paint it. A new clear coat what's left would be the way I'd go I think.
