That's the half top/parade version. A real oddity. I really prefer a roof.

Stopped by the machine shop today all the parts but the oil pickup and rocker arm covers caps in but they should be here Monday or Tuesday. The block is bored and will be getting one final clean and then reassembly starts. If all goes well I should have it back late next week or the following week (fingers crossed). I also ordered everything to have the engine ready for installation from the paint to the new sensors. Also ordered a new coolant overflow tank and washer fluid tank and a new battery bracket as mine was missing. I’ve got to get a adapter to hook up the test pipe to the smaller diameter pipe off the flange. But it’s coming together fingers crossed it will be running by the end of the month or early September. Also put insurance on it today too

Ordered my exhaust adapter from advance yesterday got here today 2-1/2” to 2-1/4” adapter and it all fits together nice and snug. Just love when parts actually fit together nicely. Also I’ve been working on organization in my garage, I’ve got a couple spare engines. Picked up some harbor freight dollies for these two Buick 3.8s to make moving them much easier

The Indy is a runner I fired it up yesterday and broke the cam in, so far it had a exhaust leak and that is repaired, the valve covers were leaking a little bit of oil but those are fixed. I’ve cleaned up all the vacuum lines, it is leaking oil out of either the oil pan or rear main I can’t tell so looks like the pan will come off this coming weekend to fix that problem but all in all I’ve put about 50-60 miles on it with no issues other than the oil leak. Just a few more loose ends to tidy up

Done quite a few updates I bought a awesome console riser with cup holders from gbodyparts it is a very nice piece I love it. I also added the front frame bracing and that really changed the car really helped stiffen it up. Still going to install new body bushings and add a few more braces just to help it a little more. The brand new reproduction gta wheels came in today from classic industries so I ran them to the tire shop on my lunch break and they are just freaking awesome I love these wheels it gives it a much more aggressive appearance but at the same time pays homage to the originals I have no regrets purchasing these. I also ordered brand new 1984-1985 GN center caps as I’m not really a fan of the trans am center caps

Thanks guys it has really came along way since i bought it back in March. It’s just about perfect to me there isn’t much else I want to do to it other than fix a couple interior pieces and fix the power antenna and factory radio. Aside from those items I just don’t have any plans to do much more to it. I don’t want to take away from what the car is.
