@mcarlo86 , would love to see pics of his rides. Does he still have the 62 he restored? What color was the 1st one and the 2nd one? My brother's was White with red interior. He traded it in on a fored, but it was kind of a cool fored, 66 Fairlane GT. I never learned from the Impala incident. He was gone to another 2 week training and I took it and ran a guy from Ontario Oregon that thought he had a faster fored. His was a 66 Fairlane GTA and he didn't know how to drive. I blew his doors off, and didn't break anything. My brother never found out about that time.........I don't think??

@idahovette You sound like my brother with my '56 Chevy. He took it out twice, both time he effed it up. First time was unrepairable damage to the right rear quarter panel, second time was after I had rebuilt the engine. I had developed internal bleeding after a tonsillectomy and needed to be driven to the hospital. I trusted him to drive it home. He did, but nearly killed it in the process.

@DoubleDingo ,Didn't wreck it just the T-10 and the rear differential. If I wrecked it I would have left town!!! I was 16 at the time probably would have gone back to Nebraska and hid out at my grandparents or aunts place. Didn't hurt the Fairlane at all, just a quick run and back home, was a little smarter then(19)!!

There were 3 things I tried to teach my son. you don't mess with another guy's car, his clothes and his girlfriend. You guys out there can pick the order. I broke 2 of them with my brother, he was one of the "Cool " guys in school. Jock, great student, Student Body President, most likely to succeed and he did! I messed with his car AND his clothes but NOT the bitch he went out with!! She was bad news!

3 on the tree may possibly be the best vehicle anti theft device ever for 2020!
When I was a kid in the late 80s-90s, hardly anyone knew how to drive them. In thought they were cool as hell!
A buddy’s dad had a nice shorty stepside 71? 307/3 on the tree. Was one of the few around not rusted out. Drove or rode to school in that about 200 times!
Another good friend of mine found a 67 Cutlass 330/3 on the tree. Car was sweet and surprisingly quick. It would almost keep up with my 70 Impala with a warmed over original 400/turbo 350.
Great memories!
