I am not familiar with the modern cars. This 1/2-3/4 tube that goes from air inlet tube up to the top of the engine, and branches off and has the split 1/4 tubing, is it evap? To me it doesn't look like oil or fuel. Need to figure it out so I know what to ask for when asking for parts at the auto parts store.

I tried to edit the photos by adding color, an arrow, something, but it wouldn't work

Being it is connected to manifold,it may see pressure under boost,IDK without looking and thinking. When I say looking and thinking,I mean looking at the car which unfortunately I don't have access to one. Sorry.

I didn't even think of that. Will be ordering replacements instead. Thanks again

I'd put masking tape over it and drive it a week, see if it blows off

It needs to be tested for emissions, so it needs to be replaced to pass visual. I may take it to my regular guy and ask him if it'll fail visual. Most likely he will say yes.

I was going to use some high psi fuel injection hose and constant pressure clamps.

I saw a video on the Buick forum where that pcv hose was replaced, and he mentioned the plastic getting brittle. Since there is about a foot of the bigger plastic hose under the engine cover, there's a chance it is brittle too.

It's not spitting out lean codes, but I do want to avoid that if possible.
