^The Quad 4/Twin Cam engines use a unique bellhousing, the 2200 OHV engines use the same pattern as the 60*V6, FWD 3800's and Northstar/Shortstar engines. YES, its possible to have a V8 in a Cavalier, some Canadian did it.

Yup, the stock auto would have to be scrapped, shoving a V6 in there would be much more fun with a proper 5 speed.

I have an 05 parts car in my driveway with a Ecotec 2.2 and a 4 speed auto if you want it.

I would need to swap the harness and computer out also. That seems like a lot of work.

Also the issue of getting it here.
