ya this radiator has been ****** all around I will never by another one like it. I almost smashed it with a hammer.

got it out and got it fixed and starting to put it back together

what a ****** day I have had

I could of not stepped foot in my garage today and would of been farther ahead of where I am now after working on my blazer all day.

at the end of the day I got it all back together and rounded off the nut on my transmission cooler line.

now I have to wait till tomorrow to get a new nut and fix the line

ya I would never buy another one like it

there are a lot of different places selling the same radiator at different prices.
but they are all the same ****** radiator.
the connection on the radiator for the heater hose is half the size it needs to be. I could not find a way to hook a hose to it. I had the local machine shop make a 3/4 nipple and weld it in. before you buy a radiator look at that hose connection to see if it is this ****** radiator

and I don't know what thread they used for the transmission cooler I could not find anything that fit. i forced the nuts on my lines to work it was like threading a standard nut in a metric hole. but it worked in the end.

i will be looking for a new radiator soon if i keep the blazer.

its tight but it fits with the ac condenser in front of it

i stole the wifes drinking water to fill the radiator it took a lot of the little bottles they are all over my floor.

Why did you use your wife's water? I understand using distilled water but most bottled drinking water is nothing more than tap water that "MAY" have been filtered.

I have just always used purified drinking water

its almost done I need to plug in the o2 sensor and transmission wires then bolt the front bumper back on

I might have missed it, but why was that radiator used in place of a stock 4.3 radiator? Wouldn't the stock radiator fit just as well?

from all the research I done the 4.3 radiator does not cool a 350 with air conditioning

plus I moved the radiator into the core support the 4.3 radiator is to wide to fit in the core support without a lot more modifications

after all the modifications I done to the aluminum 3 core one I bought it cools the 350 pretty good.

I pulled it out of the garage today and took it for a test drive it runs pretty goooooood.

Interesting, I thought it was sufficient. It's about the size of a Camaro radiator from what I remember, and those cool a healthy 350 with AC.

is on the road drivable my goal was to have it drivable by spring I beat that goal.

I still have a few things to finish it out but its drivable
