That sucks!!

Dicks!!
I talked with the Father. His daughter drives the truck and already claimed that someone hit her truck. So they are sticking with it. I know someone who works in accident reconstruction and will check with him to see if I have a case given the evidence.

It is officially back to 4l60e equipped. Going to test the trans later today and might even put the exhaust on there if trans works. Need to get some fluid for it.

Well, I guess I better get to work on the trans refresh. Ordered couple of more parts and hopefully will be putting it together next week.

Put together a compressor for rear spring. 3-4 clutch pack burned as expected, but was not expected a blown seal. Either clutches burned up when seal failed or seal failed due to clutches. Guessing the seal failed first but might have been the other way as clutches started to shed material.

Where is the 1-2 shift valve? Either it magically got lost when I took the solenoid off or it was previously removed. Need to keep looking, but not sure yet.

Half of those parts look like they could be a 1-2 shift valve to me, lol.

Would it pair up with that solenoid and spring that's to the right of the other solenoid?

That is where it should be, but just the spring came out. Unless it jumped out while I blinked. 1-2 piston seal was busted, so maybe previous owner tried to make it not shift in to 2nd? But then why not just unplug the solenoid?

Apparently c4 and c6 corvette exhaust hangers are almost identical. Same bolt pattern and all. Now the zip tie special also gets pieces of c6

First thing the truck owner said is that the corvette hit their truck...
Did your friend have keys to the Vette? I mean just putting myself in your position and thinking about my friends! lol. But really, I'm sorry about that **** happening Bruv.

Keys were at my friend's place. When I provided enough evidence that corvette was stationary when hit, their story changed and now truck was hit while in a different town.

Interesting. The brackets are a little different, but that arrangement dates back all the way to the FWD A and X body cars too.

My transmission worked. Took it for a drive and worked well so far. Had to fight with the exhaust for almost three hours to get it back on as it was bent before. I can now hear all the other little noises that I don't really want to hear.
