yeah if you can get some pictures of what the vaccuum lines look like and where they go that would help alot i read somewhere someone said on another site to spray starting fluid around the vaccuum lines and if the engine revs up then there is leak should i try this method?

That is a good idea but it can be dangerous if you have a leaking spark plug wire you could have a fire so have an extinguisher handy. If you just spray a little and it does happen to ignite give it a second or 2 and it may flash burn off but if there's a fuel leak or something it will be better to have an extinguisher on standby rather than running around looking for one.

While the truck is running put your finger over the end of the hose. If it is drawing vacuum then you definitely have a vacuum leak. Just put a small bolt in it for now and let's see if it helps! Check any other lines that may be leaking vacuum the same way. Also DEFINITELY get the pcv valve hooked up! THEN we'll see where we're at from there.

It should have a larger vacuum hose, about 1/2" - 3/4" diameter, that goes to a port on the base of the throttle body.

Well hell it's hooked up. Just pull the end out of the valve cover and shake it, if it rattles it is good. If not it is gummed up and stuck either open or closed. It acts like a check valve.

The thing on the left is just a vent, you dont need to mess with it.

thing on the left looks like the tube for the air cleaner when it's in place it gets hooked up, with it off it doesn't.

the pcv goes from the tbi to the top of the valve cover just as yours is.

there can be alot of others too.

replace ALL the lines, they are usually plastic and being this old can have holes or cracks, change them, take one of each size off and run down to your local parts store and get a few feet of each.

Well the truck wont start out of gas....... so ill have to make a run to gas station some time and fill it up to see if the hoses plugged works. Also was wondering what is this truck capable of pulling and hauling? I know the 305 isnt exactly the strongest out there but. I was arguing with a guy yesterday he was saying his toyota tundra would pull my truck down the street no problem is that true? And what would be the maximum horse power could get out of this engine with mods and all aftermarket?

I wouldnt waste time upgrading a 305, it will still be a 305 and the parts are expensive. You could drop a crate engine in for a quick 300 HP or so and be way ahead of the game. As far as towing I would say a 5,000 pound payload would be the upper limit, if it has the 700R4 overdrive trans. The Tundras are pretty badass, if he meant tow it on a trailer it probably would. Bumper-to-bumper tug of war, it would be close. Your truck probably weighs around 5500 pounds.
