No washers came with it, I can count the threads above intake, can get photo of oil cap hole. The tach in this truck works fine never had an issue with it, but the exact same tach in my 78 is defective. I’m not sure if your diagram is accurate for my situation regarding it’s an automatic throttle body in your photos. May have nothing to do with it at all I can take a spring off and see if throttle returns on it’s own.

Ive been waiting for you to reply to this thread, what have you found out/done about the things we discussed, also see this one pic is what i mean about your throttle having a spring on it. You should remove that carburetor return spring set because it should have proper throttle behavior without it

Alright, I have not touched anything on the truck yet, what was the reason for circling the spark plug wire, the hard line coming off of throttle body, and the brake booster can I believe.

the line off TBI is kinked. The plug wires are touching eachother and the coil wiring , I wouldnt be surprsied if it experiences cross fire or EMI because of that. the The booster filter I circled because you should replace it. its kinda like a charcoal canister but for your booster. stuff gets old. good idea just to maintenance but more importantly what kind of hose is that connected to? Is it booster hose? If its not booster hose you may have a problem there with your idle and stuff.

I can get the plug wire rotated so they don’t touch when I go remove the springs, what is that filter called? I’ll look into getting a new one. I’ll also get more photos of the hoses, and that hard line isn’t kinked to my knowledge
Edit: why do you have a picture of the throttle linkage including springs if they aren’t supposed to be there lol

Can look into it, and for the lines going into it I believe they’re just rubber lines. One from tbi and one to booster

if they arent rated for booster vacuum you need to replace those. THey arent strong enough for brake booster work

The last three on your first post I can’t look at currently but will later, I agree with the first page regarding “rolling surging or rough idle” I’d say my truck surges when just idling sometimes. Usually it never completely stalls out tho

Are engine repair oil stop leaks worth it? I bought a bottle of Bars leak high mileage engine repair and stop leak yesterday for the truck since it has a slow oil leak that isn’t worth pulling the engine apart. It’s so slow that it’s just annoying. Would this maybe help remedy it? Or do I risk hurting the engine. I’m kinda weary about what I put in the engine.
