1985 K10 Flatbed Sled Deck

I'm looking at a K10 project, its got no bed so I considered a flatbed for multiple different reasons. I'm in the hell hole of rust (midwest) so I cant find a clean bed for a decent price, I also like the look and ease of a flatbed, I have jet skis, atvs, bikes, and am considering snowmobiles. My question is how much weight can the suspension handle? If I were to lift it 2 or 4 inches would that bring down capacity? I was thinking around 800lbs for the bed, another 800-900 for sleds (would mostly be one sled), everything else would be lighter than that. So is that too much weight?

800 for the bed would be really heavy in my experience with flatbeds. But to answer question you'll have no issue with 1600 lbs I'd just recommed good shocks. And a trailer hitch (ties rear frame section together)
