FYI this intake won't work with peanut port heads, only oval ports. Mine has peanut ports.
The other thing to check as you are hooking up smog equipment is the condition of the vacuum lines and all the ported vacuum swithces. My truck had been off the road since 1998 and I didn't want to take a chance on any of that stuff being bad. I replaced all of the sensors. I even changes the vacuum pod on the air cleaner snorkel and the heat sensor inside just to be safe. I know your truck is a stick, so some parts may be different, but I have all the part numbers if you need to replace anything.
