i ordor one piece rubber but my vent frame is a 2 piece....i look both seem the same why i can not put a one piece over a 2 piece..beside the tab on the 2 piece, is there a difference where it sit? thx for your help! ;)

so try to fit a one pieces on a 2 pieces frame is not easy....you can do it but is not a direct retro fit...you have to glue the portion where the 2 pieces have tabs to hold it in place!

for the vent window glass frame not a perfect fit too but better than the old rusty 34 years old OEM! ;)

if i had to do all over again i choose a 2 pieces rubber seal set on a 2 pieces vent set but that will be fine! ;)

the pros on the retro fit one pieces rubber kit is the rubber is not the same outside as the 2 pieces, youv got a exterior seal fitement that is way better than a 2 pieces! hope that post help some one like me to learn this concept! :)

I'd guess that the biggest difference is the fit at the top. The 70's vent glass comes up to a higher point than the 80's vent glass.

did they seal good with the 1 piece? any other issues other then glueing? I know that one looks bad at top like the seal should be over it and ot behind it. I need to do this on mine and dad's and his is 2 piece ad the price difference in 1 vs 2 makes me wanna do the 1's
