So GM runs on the Four-pulse sine wave ??? I was thinking they were the two pulse, good thing I did`nt jump and order one a while back.

87-92 TBI runs 2
TPI runs the 4 pole AC sine wave unit.
93-95 TBI, LT1 and I think Vortec run that 40 pulse one.
It has to do with otions like the radio that changed volume depending on speed, and speed activated door locks, and blahhh blahhh.

So that's how they wired the bus up in the movie SPEED. I always wondered how the bomb would know when the speed dropped below 55.
