    I am running a 5.3/NV4500/205 combo in my 77K10 with 4.56 gears on 35in tires. 70mph at about 2400 rpm. Advance Adapters and High Impact are great sources for a NV4500 swap. dougbert’s thread is full of great info.

    I have been thinking about a kill switch as well. Disabling the fuel pump may work best for me. I do have a built in deterrent. 5 speed manual.

    First round of tuning went well. Some minor changes to MAF table. The idle is being a bit difficult. With idle set to 725, when i blip the throttle the rpms will sometimes stay around 1k or dip down to about 500. Talk to a tuning buddy this morning, he suggested pulling timing out of base idle...

    New pickup tube installed with ICT brace.

    Oil pump and new timing chain installed. Still waiting on new cam plate. Used the old cam plate to allow some oil to be pushed through the bottom end. The oil priming tank worked great. 20 psi of air in the tank easily pushed oil through the engine.

    LS6 springs arrived today. Have half of them installed. Will finish up tomorrow after work. Still waiting on cam, cam plate and pickup tube.
