Help finding woodgrain door panel trim 81+

I don't recall the trim being available for the C/Ks in the early 80s (I could be wrong) but the R/V (88-91) had it for sure. That might help.

    33X12.5X15 Mud Terrain Tires

Any MT will have some variation of road noise. It all relative to the driver, more for some and less for others. A thing to remember, the larger the lug of the tread the louder the noise it will make. This is also true as for the "stickiness" of the tread will add to the noise. Proper...

Location of window relay switch 87 Silverado standard cab

Welcome to the site. Sounds like some wires are crossed. Windows and locks are 2 complete different circuits. IIRC, there was never a relay in the C/K power window circuit which is why the move slow. Wiring diagram for you year can be found here...

I would do the ball joints before the steering gear. Ball joints would wear out long before the gear would IMO

    Sealing Windshield

Don't put sealant on the gasket for the body side or glass side. It wasn't built to have any. Make sure the drains are clear, there is no rust, and the body seam is straight and in good condition. I had to fix mine from rust and I never had a leak during the 4 years I had after that. I tried...

    New K20 owner!

Welcome to the site. Thoughts... Are you going to be adding a lift kit to the truck? Does it already have one? If so, does it have a lifted steering arm? or a block? They can be a pain to remove because they washers are "cone washers". A BFH is your best friend with showing the steering...

    Trany or Engine

How is it without the load? Does the engine rev just as easily or struggle. Does the trans shift harder or softer? Key things; motor has 100 miles on it. IT'S NOT EVEN BROKEN IN YET, IIRC, GM said to break engine in 500 or 1000 miles before towing. how many miles are on...

    FUEL TANK SWITCH ORIENTATION

IIRC, its an on/on switch. I can't download the wiring diagram ATM but its located here... The switch just allows the signal for the fuel gauge per tank and IIRC grounds the single post switching valve for the pass side to work. https://www.gmsquarebody.com/threads/1973-1991-wiring-manuals.14498/
