Quick fuel or not.
What's wrong with the performer RPM? I was reading a super Chevy article the other day where they made almost 50hp from a regular performer and headers on a small block and then it got even better with an rpm.- TravisB

624 sbc heads
If my googling skills haven't failed me, they are trash. According to the masses they are crack prone with 76cc chambers. Some call them the worst of the worst even but I have 0 experience with them and only adding what I googled. I have a set of 993s that I was googling yesterday so I searched...- TravisB

Regular bumper on a 4WD fleetside
Hey Keith you don't happen to have any pics of how that hitch mounts up or how you get in behind the plate do you? I am doing some office daydreaming about making a hitch for my truck or buying one that does exactly that. -

I have the non step bumper on my 78 but I want to be able to pull my mower trailer around and stuff with it and was thinking after I lower it, I would like to have the hitch as high as I can get it and not... -
350 Chevy knocking noise!
I had a truck that made a noise like that when the torque converter bolts loosened and were hitting the dust cover. Check that too if you have an auto. The dust cover was loose too and it made the sound sort of intermittent. It was probably the 3rd time replacing the 700r4 that came in the 84...- TravisB

Best mud tire?
MUD: There was a comment earlier in this thread about Buckshot Mudders and I ran a set of those on a Jeep and they did great in mud but not so great in the snow and were okay on the road but whined a little and got progressively worse as they wore. I have ran Ground Hawgs, Gumbo Monster Mudders...- TravisB

Time and money. What should I do??
I like it, would make a good work truck. Not sure if it would sell faster as is or with a standard bed so make that decision based on whether you want to keep the bed it has. Then a good detail and list it or use it. -
Cab Stand or Dolley
Did it not try to fall over? The furniture dolly sounds like a narrow base to work with. My cab still has the glass in it so it's a bit top heavier than a stripped one. This sounds the simplest and may be what I do. -

My next door neighbor has one of these he is fixing up and could probably use the parts. Does the truck have a good title and stuff and how much are you asking? I will relay the message. Also, where is the thing lol? You may be too far from us to begin with even if it was free. lol -
