    Evaporator core repair kits

Might have to give it a go then. My burb being RHD has the evaporator on what is your drivers side so the normal bend of the evaporator pipes would put the drier right up against the engine, which makes replacing there evaporator with a brand new one not so straight forward. Sent from my...

    Evaporator core repair kits

Just having a browse through parts on rockauto's website and come across these evaporator core repair kits. Anyone know what exactly they repair. I imagine its for either the top or bottom piping - which would be convenient if its for the bottom as mine has cracked about half way.

Green Gas Monkey Wrecked Truck being rebuilt.

Anyone see the latest vid on the rebuild. I lost it laughing when I seen him put the grinding wheel on backwards. If it was me making videos I'd do something like that as a windup for the internet trolls, and then spin it around off camera - but there was a shot at the end with grinding wheel in...

    89 suburban speedo

I don't believe it's a cable issue as the Speedo works ok when cold for 5 mins or so and then just stops working. Doesn't bounce the needle or anything that I would expect of a cable fault Sent from my SM-T290 using Tapatalk

    Harmonic Vibration

Firstly, in my line of work harmonics are just a convenient error in a mathematical calculation that can help to analyze vibration problems. Anyway sounds like it may be what I call a beating vibration - actually a combination of two separate, but close vibration frequencies (the time between...

Question about pulling to left while braking.

I've had the same issue with my burb, except pulling to the right. New rear brake shoes sorted the issue for a little while, but the problem is back again

    Down Under Cars

there was a bad incident a few years ago where a few specators got badly burnt I haven't heard personally of many injuries from flying tyres. My favorite event (that I haven't been to in some years due to living in a remote area until recently) has spectators reasonably close to the track...

    Down Under Cars

Nothing quite like burnouts at night - get to see the methanol burning! Fred Watson - from my home city in Perth and he travels all over the country doing this stuff( which is impressive in itself as Perth is on the other side of the country to where all the biggest events happen).

What new tools have you got lately?

Well, it wasn't for something on my burb that I needed it for - my daily driver is covered in torx fastners. The standard inhex sockets will get use elsewhere as well

    454 headers?

Just spied a set of 454 headers for sale on one of my local Facebook groups. They look unused and I was thinking about grabbing them as it would save me some $$$ in freight from the US when I get around to putting on a new exhaust into my burb. My question is could they be used for my 89 TBI...
