    HRPC come in.

I thought long and hard over this conversion or the stick shift, but with the towing I decided the 5 speed was my safest bet for the money.

    HRPC come in.

I'm pretty sure if you call them up and ask about group buys they will give a discount. I've seen it on other sites.

    HRPC come in.

You are thinking of compushift. Optishift is 425 for the controller. 140 for the wiring harness and the only option I didn't see the first time was a tps for a Holley that's another 85 bucks.

    another Chevy Cummins swap

I've seen a lot of guys modify their truck to run a 3rd gen air to air. I used water to air cause that is what mine came with. Stock radiator.

    No spark!

I've had them do anything to over bore a crate engine to electrical part failure one after the other. I've even replaced a camshaft sensor in a jeep. Still didn't fire sold it dirt cheap because that is the only thing it could have been and the next owner replaced the same shit sensor from...

    No spark!

If your getting spark and fuel. It should start. Is there a sputter? Make me think the distributor is off. It's easy to do. Even a tooth off. Go get a 30 dollar timing light. It way easier then guessing.

    No spark!

Lesson number one. Never go to autozone for parts. Especially electrical if you didn't buy a crap coil out of the box it will go out in the next year. I have spent so much money at that pitiful excuse for a parts store and if it works out of the box it won't for much longer.

Zombie Defense / Assault Vehicle Build

There is also the option of a pneumatic starter and you can get an air compressor between the block and power steering pump. No electricity at all during nuclear attack and with a tank you could plug motherfuckers with a nail gun!!

    What was your first Vehicle?

I've had a lot of my own projects and he has a 70 Monte Carlo that gets more attention. Now I'm 1800 miles away from him so I can't do anything about. I think he's talking about selling it but I know he's in no hurry. I may end up inheriting it I have no idea. It's really in good shape.

    What was your first Vehicle?

My dad has a rust free 52 olds 88 with a 455/400 in his garage. The engine is rebuilt sitting to the side. I never had the chance to put it back in because I don't know how to rebuild a tranny and he hasn't paid anyone to do it.

new to the engine building community

I have always built everything for street use cause I'm to broke to build a real racer. Hell anything over 400 hp and carbureted is just to impractical for me.

    Diesel engine ideas

Couple hours to turn the power screw. It has a keyed lock you have to pry off without forgetting where stock is. Afc wheel is under the top cap and most people either buy a power pin or grind the stock one. I wouldn't chance weakening the stock screw. I'm referring to the ve pump on the early...

I've never heard it called the 600 series if that what you mean 06 and up you can use efi live. Smarty is a popular one too. I have a...
