New brake shoe is coming off of anchor pin
I would take the right side shoe off again. The bottom of the shoe has got to be out of position based on how high the top is.- Terry Wilkerson

Paint manufacturer recommendations for the DIY
I used Nason auto paint. I am happy with the paint. I paid around 900 for the base, clear, hardner and reducer. I bought one for my 86 from LMC. Had to trim it before it would fit. I was careful and trimed it a little at a time so as not to trim to much. It was a pain to install it over and over. But worth the time. Over all it fit pretty good. There's probably better quality but I know your pain waiting...- Terry Wilkerson

Fuse question (what is this for? Empty on a schematic)

If you see a place on the wire where there is a previous repair or electrical tape is start there with your inspection. Not uncommon to find previous owners repairs don't do you any favors.- Terry Wilkerson

Radiator recore or buy new?
I think you did the right thing. I was able to find copper radiator at local shop here in KC for my 86. I think I paid $360 for it.. Also been in business for 40 years plus. I didn't want a plastic one either.- Terry Wilkerson

Instrument Cluster Installation
Hold the black meter lead to a good ground, I used the door latch stud. Use the red on the guage attachment points in the dash cluster with the guage removed with the key in the run position.
