Need help on this issue. 1987 R10 2WD turbo 400 . Ok speedometer will stop working after a few miles (20 miles or more) . If I let it sit still and go back to driving it it will works . New speedometer and cable looks good , can spin cable with fingers and it moves speedometer. A while back had to replace plastic gear in transmission ( old and broke ) . Everything looks good it will stop working and when it cools off start back working. It does have adapter coming off transmission but it looks like it’s working too . Thanks for in help .
