Cost of shipping a truck?
The wrecked deuce was a M35A3. These trucks were equipped with Central Tire Inflation Systems, CTIS. Their top speed is around 45 and the "pete" was reported likely doing 75. A good running M35A2 could run 55 on the flat. I have one with 1100 tires and a bit of tuning that can run 65.- Dooley

The M35A3 never was equipped with a Cummins. They were equipped with a Cat 3116 diesel. It's a 45 mph deuce. The original M35 had a Reo-Continental 331-6 gas engine. Not to be confused with the hypercycle multifuel diesel. Found the ad for this truck. The LDS 427 is a good engine. The ad says...- Dooley

Could you confirm my suspicions about this truck? Is it an m35 with original gas engine? These do not bring as much money as they are preferred with the A1 and A2 upgrades such as the multifuel diesel engine and overdrive transmission. Unless the truck is missing the exhaust pipe on the rt front cab corner it appears this truck is a gasser. Also the headlights are still in the low mount position and "cats eye" signal lamps. 33/12.50-15's on 8" Rally Wheels fit a stock K10 ?
Don't let the looks fool you as this truck is a 1980 K10. Changed the cab and the front clip came with it many years ago. 33/12.50-15's work great and ran them on 1/2 ton square body all the way back to 1973 and up without problems with stock suspension. Value of a 400/402 big block?
If it was close I would grab it. My 1972 GMC 3500 Wideside had one stock. I wish i still had that truck. Factory in dash tach. 402, 8.5' long pickup box, under bed right side tool storage box, and auxiliary left side 18 gal. fuel tank.- Dooley

Stock rim width
On my square body trucks I like the 255/85-16's and they fit stock wheels and the truck with zero problems. I run 285/75-16's on my newer pickups. 265/75-16's on my 1994 Suburban were a factory option.- Dooley

My reply was meant for bucket, not the original poster. I always have run motor oil in the "full time" cases even if part timed. Same bearings in my 1988 V30 205 as with the 1972/80 205's.
