The service manual I referenced calls for Motor oil For the transfer case if it is full time 4 wheel drive and Gear oil if not. I believe my 1977 blazer was born with full time And was modified by a previous owner. I bought it with manual locking hubs. Does anyone know what I should be using?
I also would like to change the differential oil . I have read that if you have positraction you should put in an additive. How do I determine if this rig has positraction ?
I do not know how stock The truck is. I believe there have been modifications. Can anyone help identify what I have here by these photographs? Thanks in advance for your help!
