Crusty Biscuit, my 65 c20 ran hot when going down the highway, and it had a 3 row, shroud, and good fan. Plenty of air flow, just ran hot down the road.
My old 65 c20 Mean Green never went above 1/4 from "C" on the gauge, but it had a 4 row.
Yes we used to bore them .125 over in the early 80s and called them 301s not realizing that made a 4 inch bore and basically a 302 like the early Z28sWeren't there guys that bored them like .120 over or thereabouts?
